It uses a Lumileds 1 Watt LED which can be focused from flood to spot beam and provides an output of 51 lumen. In low power mode the 3 x AA batteries can power the head torch for up to 50 hours. This head torch also unit incorporates 3 x 5mm coloured LEDs - Red is for night vision, blue is for differentiating blood and other fluids and green is for map reading signalling to others.
