It uses three AAA batteries (supplied), it is high quality, water resistant, durable, has a lanyard fitted and as with all luxeon torches it is really bright. Suitable for self safety, cycling, climbing, camping and outdoor activities or as a self defence tool - bright enough to momentarily blind an attacker. This torch is a great inexpensive torch & excellent value for money - we even throw in a set of batteries completely free.
