I bought this item with trepidation and only after reading the existing reviews. I had already had a disaster with a bluetooth stick shortly after purchasing my Windows 7 laptop in December 2009. The system crashed and I was told never to dabble with bluetooth adaptors again! This was advertised as being suitable for Windows 7 but the packaging mentioned Vista with no reference to Windows 7. I did have some apprehension but felt confident because the Windows 7 driver download was on the web page. Everything went perfectly and within a few minutes I was transferring photos from my mobile phone. It works well also with music and photo files from another laptop. Incredible value and in fact one of the best purchases I have ever made! Thank you.
